Maison Margiela's packaging concept
is based on the brand's central
philosophies. The optical white
handles of the shoppers are frayed to
evoke the passage of time, like an
evolution of the maison's original and
anonymous tote bags.

The Parisian fashion house Maison Margiela bases its codes on the concept of non-
conformism and subversion of norms. Appointed Creative Director in 2014, British
designer John Galliano uses his own visual language to broaden its values, creating a
new technical vocabulary that consolidates Maison Margiela's status as a singular and
autonomous entity in the world of luxury.
